August 2026 Monthly Meeting Minutes
Board members present: Lee Kegan, Matt Shepard, Justin Clark
Others present: Katie Moll, Judy Humpal, Josh Pittman, Tom Humpal, Gordy Cronk

• Meeting called to order by Chairman Kegan at 7:00 pm
• Pledge recited.
• Clark moved to accept the July meeting minutes.  Shepard seconded. Motion carried.
• Financial Report given by Judy Humpal-Treasurer. Checking balance $18,850.07. Equipment fund balance: $ 29,783.79.  General Savings balance: $64,128.96 . Equipment CD balance: $46,742.96.
• Clerk Report-Election prep, budget prep
• Public Input-None
• LP Contract-Shepard moved to prebuy 2500 gallons of LP at $1.47/ gallon from Synergy.  Clark seconded, Motion carried.
• Ambulance District Report-Looking for a new director.  4 new staff were also hired. 
• Fire District-Recent call to a plane crash.  Used it as training for staff as well.  Demo Derby August 22nd.
• Patrolman’s Report
  • Spray patching was completed on 171st st, 1020th ave, 150th st, 180th st, 1130th ave, and 280th st.
  • Wirth completed graveling 1070th ave.
  • Ditching completed on 1070th ave.
  • Problems with people building a dam under the 1020th ave bridge. Dam was removed and now is being rebuilt.
  • Flatbed trailer frame is rusting out. New Haven will share there trailer with us as part of the Intergovernmental Agreement with them.  Clark moved to sell the old trailer as is through Hanson Auction.  Shepard seconded.   Motion carried.
  • Brush mower shared with New Haven needs a new gearbox. We are responsible for half of the cost. $5200 total for repairs
• Shepard moved to approve vouchers.  Clark seconded.  Motion carried.
• Clark moved to adjourn the meeting.  Shepard seconded.  Motion carried.
