​TOWN OF TIFFANY
Meeting Minutes April 2020
 
In abidance of Governor Evers’ Safer at Home order, this meeting was held electronically through the Zoom Meeting App.
Chairman Siler called the regular monthly board meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, April 14,2020.  Members in attendance:  Chuck Siler, Lee Kegan, Steve Boyd, Katie Moll, Laura Rasmussen, Joanne Utphall and Cronk.
 
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
 
Pastor Boyd was asked to say a prayer for our country.
 
Boyd moved to accept the March general Meeting minutes. Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
 
The treasurer gave the financial report.  Account balances for the month end were as follows: 
Peoples Bank General checking $4,300.37; Equipment Fund $22,323.83; General Savings Fund $111,283.30.  WESTconsin Credit Union Business Savings $5.00.  Chairman Siler suggested the proceeds from the sale of old 1 Ton, $3,501.00 be moved from general checking to equipment savings.

  • Speed limit:  a.  35 mph or b.  as posted for automobiles.  Board selected as posted.
  • Hours of operation:  a. Dawn to dusk  or  b. 24/7.   Board selected Dawn to Dusk
 
Annual Road Inspection ate set for May 4, 2020 at 8:30 am.  Everyone will drive separately, but meet at the town hall by 8:30
 
,Patrolman’s report-
Kegan moved to purchase stinger grader blades-heavy duty from H & L Mesabi for $4136.  Boyd seconded. Motion carried
Boyd moved to spray whole township with a new herbicide that is safe for animals and bees, while partnering with New Haven township.  Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
Sealed bids will be requested for 1150th ave. and 130th street.  To be opened at the May meeting.  Quotes will be requested for 1110th and 1198th.
 
Boyd moved to pay vouchers. Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
Boyd moved to hire Stan Siler as part-time help.  Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Kegan moved to adjourn meeting.  Boyd seconded.  Motion carried.
