​Meeting Minutes February 2020
 
Chairman Siler called the regular monthly board meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2020.  Board members present:  Chuck Siler, Lee Kegan and Steve Boyd.  Also present were Gordy Cronk, Bob Utphall, Nancy Zavodny, Tom Humpal and Tom Jenkins-Rural Insurance.
 
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
 
Boyd moved to accept the January general Meeting minutes. Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
 
The treasurer gave the financial report.  Account balances for the month end were as follows: 
Peoples Bank General checking $14,604.05; Equipment Fund $22,294.87; General Savings Fund $431,992.46.  WESTconsin Credit Union Business Savings $5.00.
 
Public Input-
  • Questions about when gravel roads will get finished.
  •  Electors understand that there was an issue with hired vendor, asking for a back up plan in case something like this happens again.
  • Plan is to complete 1151st, 1070th and 140th as was originally planned last year. 
  • Can we prepare for culverts freezing in advance?  Why wait until crisis occurs?  Chairman Siler will follow up with Dunn County on this question.
  • New 1 ton issues are resolved.
  • Questions about old grader tires.
 
Rural Insurance-Tom Jenkins did a policy review with the board.  Plans to rerun values of buildings in 2021.
 
Resolution 2020-1- Boyd moved to amend the original resolution from 5 poll workers to 3 for the February 18th election.  Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Fire Hall Update-
  •  Open House will be April 26, 2020
  • Kegan moved to approve the amended Community Fire District Agreement.  Boyd seconded.  Motion carried.
 
WTA Update-looking for Census workers.  Paying $19 per hour.  Online application.
 
ATV/UTV Update-county is addressing Town Road enforcement issues.  Working to get all town roads up to county code, therefore allowing them to enforce.  Upcoming meeting in March to discuss these plans.
 
,Patrolman’s report-
  • Opened Gravel bids-Boyd moved to accept Milestone Materials bid for 5500 tons at $6.90 per ton.  Kegan seconded. Motion carried.
  • Boyd moved to authorize Chairman to give permission to Patrolman to purchase up to 100 tons of Salt/Sand from Dunn County if needed. Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
 
2019 Financial Audit-Board reviewed and approved audit
 
Boyd moved to pay vouchers.  Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Kegan moved to adjourn meeting.  Boyd seconded.  Motion carried.
