Meeting Minutes March 2021
Chairman Siler called the regular monthly board meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021.  Members in attendance:  Chuck Siler, Lee Kegan, Steve Boyd, Katie Moll, Laura Rasmussen, Bob Utphall, Julie Swenson, JoAnn Utphall, Neil Buschmann, Cory Green, Nick Lange
 
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Boyd moved to accept the February General Meeting minutes. Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Financial Report given by treasurer Laura Rasmussen.  Account balances for the month end were as follows: General checking $8,798.32; Equipment Fund $41,422.82; General Savings Fund $179,089.28.   
 
Public Input
  • Nick Lange-Candidate for Circuit Court Judge II Candidate
  • JoAnn Utphall-Discussion about Dunn County Land Ordinances-changes.  Dunn County surveyor, Tom Carlson stated typically follow 8-1 ratio. (Every 8 acres, gets 1 division).  The committee meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday every month at 8:30 am.  The upcoming ordinances pertain mostly to those townships that do not have any ordinance in place and are not zoned.  Tiffany is zoned.
  • Currently a petition for Dunn County to become a 2nd Amendment County
  • Pressure washer fixed and covered under warranty.
  • Suggestion for annual garage door maintenance and check up.
  • Grader tires-where are they and are they still for sale.  Chairman Siler to follow up.
  • Questions about new voting machines
 
Resolution 2021-2- Kegan moved to reduce election officials to 5 for the April Spring Election.  Boyd seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Fire Department Pipe Installation:  Chief Cory Green discussed the request to install a spout off the bridge to draw water from the creek on 1150th St. 
 
Kegan moved to allow Fire District to install the PVC Water Spicket to the bridge on 1150th St.  Boyd seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Patrolman’s Report:  
  • Concrete pad on 1070th Ave has been removed from right-of-way
  • Furnace in town hall has been repaired
  • Pressure washer repaired
  • Cold Mix-need to preorder.  Added to April Agenda
  • Gravel needed for: 284th St, 140th St., 230th St, 1130th Ave, 1150th Ave, 1106th, and 1165th Ave
  • Patrolman having trouble with phone.  Steve to follow up.
  • Garage doors fixed
  • Continued discussion on Salt Shed-need to measure property line.  Added to April agenda
  • Kegan moved to request bids for 2500 tons of gravel.  Boyd seconded.  Motion carried.
ATV/UTV Ordinance-Kegan moved to amend our ordinance to match the county ordinance in regards to 1) days per year 2) Times of operation and 3) speed limits allowed.  Boyd seconded.  Motion carried.  Clerk will update these changes and bring to April meeting for adoption.
 
 
Kegan moved to pay vouchers. Boyd seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Boyd moved to adjourn meeting.  Siler seconded.  Motion carried.
