Meeting Minutes March 2022
Supervisor Kegan called the regular monthly board meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022. Board members present: Chuck Siler, Lee Kegan and Steve Boyd. Others present: Laura Rasmussen-Treasurer, Katie Moll-Clerk, Brad Eggen-Patrolman, Bob Utphall, Tom Humpal, Cory Green, JoAnne Utphall, Carrie Green, and Gordy Cronk.
 
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
 
Meeting Minutes-Boyd moved to accept the February General Meeting. Siler seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Financial Report given by treasurer Laura Rasmussen.  Account balances for the month end were as follows: General checking $10,728.64 Equipment Fund $16,281.33 General Savings Fund $145, 261. 24  ARPA Grant Savings $34,000.42.
 
Clerk Report given by clerk Katie Moll.   Regular February board meeting prep.  February Primary Election. Prep and post April election. Start on Department of Revenue Year end report.  Register board members for Wis. Towns Association Board of Review Training.
 
Public Input
  • Hazardous Waste Collection day is set for May 21, at Boyceville Dump Site 8-12
  • Chief Cory Green reported on Fire Department.  Overall going well. Currently have 35 on the department, which is fully staffed.  Recently escorted state Wrestlers back.  Planning to participate in Donkey Basketball Fundraiser with Glenwood City.  Recently received donation of air packs from Minneapolis FD.  Plans in the works for new truck.  The department has been conducting trainings.  Have been participating in a lot of mutual aid calls. 
 
Ambulance Report:  The department is in urgent need of more staff.  Spread the work.
 
Patrolman’s Report
  • Have recent repairs and warranty work done.
  • Discussion on backhoe dripping over bathroom ceiling.  Table for now.  Ideas are welcome.
  • Road ban signs up
  • Boyd moved to purchase 12 flip up permanent road ban signs from Dunn County for $1918.89. Kegan seconded.  Motion carried.
  • Boyd moved to purchase 50 tons salt/sand from Dunn County.  Siler seconded.  Motion carried.
  • Kegan moved to purchase 2 tires from Doug’s Auto Body for 1 Ton Truck.  Boyd seconded.  Motion carried.
  • Reviewed current gravel bids.  Decided to table until April meeting.
  • Discussion on needed road projects.
 
Resolution 2022-2: Boyd moved to approve resolution 2022-2 to reduce election workers to 5 from 7 for the Spring April Election. Siler seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Vouchers:  Boyd moved to pay vouchers. Siler seconded.  Motion carried.
 
Adjourn: Kegan moved to adjourn meeting.  Siler seconded.  Motion carried.
